Melanie lives in Madison, WI with her husband and two little girls.  Although she has a degree in interior design, she has been working in the scrapbooking industry since 2006 and loves that a hobby has turned into an amazing career.  When she's not online - hardly ever! - she loves cook as well as habitually organize her house.

What flavor Kool Aid was your favorite? Berry Blue.  I don't even think they make this anymore but man it brings back memories of Summer and hours spent outside.
 
What’s your favorite band? Better Than Ezra.  But before they got their latest drummer.  I've seen them in concert 10+ times and they always put on a great show.
 
Cats or dogs? At the moment, I'd say cats as I've never had a dog but plan to once we know where we'll be living permanently in a couple of years.  Currently we have two cats that we've adopted and they definitely are like part of our family.  Even if one of them is super tempremental about being fed at a certain hour each morning and the other snores like a freight train.
 
Biggest pet peeve? People being late.  This drives me absolutely crazy!  So much so that I strive to be 15 minutes early to everything which in turn drives my husband crazy.
 
If you had to change your name, what would your new name be? Before majoring in Interior Design in undergrad, I was a Pre-Journalism major and had dreams of being an anchor on Sportscenter.  I always thought I'd change my name to Melanie Montgomery - hello, alliteration!
 
What is usually your first thought when you wake up? I use my iPhone as my alarm clock so after turning it off, I check my e-mail.  I know, I know - such a bad habit!  I feel like I can't function without knowing if there is anything that needs my immediate attention.
 
Have ever eaten a crayon? People do this?  What am I talking about?!  I just took part of an orange Crayola out of my 18 month old's mouth last week.  Eww.
 
Where is your favorite vacation place? Does a cruise ship count?  I've been lucky enough to go on to and absolutely loved waking up in a new locale each morning without me doing any of the work!
 
What is your favorite color? Grey.  Which seems a bit ironic giving the name of the company I'm employed by, right?  Although if you ask my 3 year old, she'll tell you my favorite color is red.  I'm not sure of the reasoning behind that one though.
 
What is your favorite holiday? Independence Day.  Hello fireworks, BBQ and celebrating the men and women that protect our freedom each and every day.
